VISION

Our Vision at Bakke Buildings is to deliver a professional build to our clients, including initial consultations, to achieving the highest quality in the industry through our workmanship and quality materials.

MISSION

We at Bakke Buildings believe that whatever our client’s budget, a building is a major investment.  The process from designing the building, to meeting expectations of the finished build should not be a stressful experience.  Our Mission is to mitigate the process so that the client’s faith in our company and subsequent finished project has the net result of a satisfied customer.  We are very proud of the fact that we have repeat customers with whom we have established this trust and faith. This has been achieved by supplying a building within timelines and budget, while adhering to the highest standards.

Bakke Buildings is a family company, and the Bakke name means something to us so we will always work to maintain the reputation we have strived to achieve.  One of the things that sets us apart is, that it is a Bakke you will be dealing with in the consultation phase, and a Bakke that will be building/overseeing the construction. Our clients have confidence in the quality of the project when they know that we are committed.

Another thing that we take pride in is Craig’s crew. The core of the crew has been with us for many years, and we believe that our ability to deliver includes the fact that our “chain” is strong due to the quality of employees.

“The quality of your business is directly proportional to the quality of the people you hire which is directly proportional to your character.”
– Alex Hormozi

Testimonials

“We are super pleased with this design and fabrication, our friends at Bakke Construction asked asked us for a solution to help make perfectly straigh and tight laminated board beams for the post frame buildings they often construct. We designed and constructed these single ram dual action press assemblies, and incorporated twelve of them into two benches. The benches can be hooked inline to accommodate longer beams over25′ or set up side by side as shown to build two posts at once. These were designed to retrofit into the customers benches with some modification. All parts were designed, CNC cut assembled and welded in house, including the extensive machining and bushing work. All pivot points and bushings are fitted with grease zerks, all parts are independent replaceable, and serviceable. The hydraulic system that runs this press system usable to generate well over 2500 psi at the clamp points and holds this pressure while the user nails and glues his post assemblies.”

We offer different types of insulation including a cellulose blow-in wall insulation (Walbar) to increase value, as well as sprayfoam of the economical Batt insulation. Our ceilings are blown-in with R-40 or R-50 insulation depending on client’s needs.

We use different profiles of metal and colors depending on customer needs. Typically we use 29-gauge, but can use a heavier gauge if needed. Specialty colors such as wood grain (26-gauge metal) are available on special orders. All our trim is made out of 26-gauge metal and has added stiffeners to mitigate “Oil Canning”. We offer PVC panels on our interiors.

All the dimensional lumber that we use in our buildings, whether it is in the posts or wall strapping, is #2 Commercial Grade lumber.

Different options for foundations are available depending on the needs of the client. Post Frame (wood in the ground), Post Frame on top of Bakke Bell piers, Post Frame on top of Grade Beams, Grade Beams

Different options for foundations are available depending on the needs of the client. We do regular Post Frame, our proprietary Bell Pier with an engineered wet set bracket, as well as Grade Beams from stud walls to Grade Beams with wet set brackets, and pole sheds attached to the Grade Beam.

We build unique buildings depending on clients’ individual visions. We have built Barndominiums as well as specialty acreage buildings. Other specialty offerings include offices, new and innovative siding choices, as well as interiors.

We do concrete work and offer in-floor heat as well as concrete slabs. We also do grade beams and have worked on specialty-stamped concrete projects (upon request).

Equipment is expensive. Repairs are expensive. Bakke Buildings builds cold storage buildings to protect farmer’s investments in equipment. Customers have told us that their cold storage building (80’x300’) was the one of the best investments made on their farm. The largest cold storage building we’ve done was 100’x300’x2’.

Bakke Buildings also deals with Steel Building for the clients that wish to go the route of a solid steel building. The largest steel building we’ve built was 150’x350’.

Post frame buildings are an economical way of obtaining building needs without the extra cost of concrete foundations. We have also built numerous riding arenas with barns attached, as well as stand-alone horse barns, including hip-roof barns.

We build several variations of heated shops for not only agriculture, but commercial as well. Clients are identifying the need to spend winter months maintaining equipment and preparing for spring seeding. Commercially we have built heated buildings with needs varying from potato storage sheds to chemical warehouses.
